Write for us
We welcome thoughtful pitches from writers who can help readers notice how gardens are shaped by plants, layout, materials and time. Send proposals through the Contact page; please do not send a finished article unless we have requested one.
What we welcome
Good pitches offer a clear subject, a fresh angle and a reason it matters to a curious general reader. We are interested in explainers, comparisons, garden history and grounded pieces about seeing a garden differently. Keep claims proportionate, and avoid presenting one preference as a rule for everyone.
What to include
In your message, outline the proposed focus, the main idea you would develop and why it suits Bold Garden Review. Mention any particular expertise or relevant experience you would draw on, without assuming it speaks for every garden or setting. A short outline is more useful than a full draft.
How to send a pitch
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial option. Include your name, a way to reply and a concise proposal. Sending a pitch does not guarantee publication; we consider each proposal for its clarity, fit and distinct contribution to our coverage.
A garden is more than its plants
Paths, surfaces, spacing and seasonal shifts all affect what we notice. We look at those details with curiosity, and without prescribing one right way to garden.
