Editorial policy
Bold Garden Review aims to make garden design and observation easier to understand. We value accuracy, clear distinctions between fact and opinion, and corrections readers can follow.
Accuracy and clarity
We check factual statements against suitable information before publication and use precise wording when a subject has more than one interpretation. Articles should make clear whether they are explaining a feature, comparing options or offering a point of view. We do not present personal preference as a universal rule.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for their relevance to readers and the publication's subject. A commercial relationship does not guarantee favourable coverage or influence an editorial conclusion. We aim to make any relevant relationship clear to readers.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error or unclear passage, please use the Contact page and describe the article and the issue. We review correction requests, update material when warranted and make significant corrections clear in the article.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid or partner material is identified clearly where it appears and kept distinguishable from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, we label them so readers can tell that they are illustrative rather than documentary images.
A garden is more than its plants
Paths, surfaces, spacing and seasonal shifts all affect what we notice. We look at those details with curiosity, and without prescribing one right way to garden.
